OSSAA 2025 Annual Luncheon

Join us on the 31st of August for an afternoon of great food, inspiring stories, and meaningful impact. Hear from special guest speaker Gill Hicks AM, as we raise funds to support life-changing surgical missions.

About the Event

You’re warmly invited to the OSSAA 2025 Annual Luncheon – a special fundraising event supporting the life-changing work of the Overseas Specialist Surgical Association of Australia Inc (OSSAA). Held at the picturesque Glenelg Golf Club, this year’s luncheon offers a delicious two-course meal shared among passionate supporters and like-minded individuals, all united by a commitment to improving access to surgical and reconstructive rehabilitation services for children and disadvantaged communities in our region – particularly in East Timor and Eastern Indonesia.

Special Guest Speaker: Gill Hicks AM

This year’s event features a moving keynote address by Gill Hicks AM – internationally acclaimed speaker, author, and peace advocate. A survivor of the 2005 London bombings, Gill's story of resilience, identity, and transformation has inspired audiences around the world. Her message is one of hope, strength, and the power of community – values deeply aligned with OSSAA's mission.

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in our fundraising raffle, with tickets available for purchase on the day (fundraiser is cash only). All proceeds from the event will directly support OSSAA’s surgical outreach programs, which provide critical operations and training in communities with limited access to specialist surgical care.

Whether you're a long-time supporter or new to OSSAA, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable afternoon of purpose and inspiration.
