OVERSEAS SPECIALIST SURGICAL ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA

The Committee and members of OSSAA extend their congratulations to Dennis on being awarded the Public Service Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

 His Citation read

Mr. Richard Dennis

"For outstanding public service in the area of statuary interpretation and legislative drafting”.

Richard attended the first meeting of the organization which became Oversea Specialist Surgical Association of Australia Inc. on15th. Feb. 2002, at which the name of the association was confirmed, and the Memorandum of Association, which Richard had helped us to assemble, was adopted. Richard was OSSAA’s first Secretary.

He secured our Certificate of Incorporation on 13^th. March 2002 and within the next 6 months, he arranged our ABN, GST registration, and our Tax file number.

His skill in these potentially difficult areas was greatly appreciated and was crucial to getting OSSAA up and running in an efficient manner.
